Dr. Robert A. Dattolo is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology. A United States Naval Scholarship recipient, Dr. Dattolo received his medical degree in 1986 from St. Louis University. After completing an internship at Bethesda Naval Hospital, he studied aerospace medicine at the Naval Aerospace Institute in Pensacola, Florida. Continuing his naval career, Dr. Dattolo spent the next two years as a Naval Flight Surgeon with a Marine Corps F/A 18 fighter squadron and then entered residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at San Diego Naval Medical Command. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Dattolo served as Clinical Director of the Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Department at the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida from 1994 to 1997.

Dr. Dattolo's clinical interests in the field of ENT include pediatric otolaryngology, medical and surgical management of sinusitis, hearing loss, voice and allergy management. He has published research-based articles and often lectures to peer professionals on the topic of allergic rhinitis. Dr. Dattolo has appeared on local television numerous times as an expert on ENT topics.

Dr. Dattolo joined ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida in May of 2015.

Dr. Dattolo maintains privileges at Jupiter Medical Center and St. Mary's Medical Center, as well as the Laser and Surgery Center of the Palm Beaches. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, the American Medical Association, the Florida Network of Otolaryngologists, and the Palm Beach County Medical Society.
